Oliver Pellów was the first and only president of the Nordic Union, as well as former president of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Oliver Pellów was born on March 15, 1956 in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a child and through his teen years, Oliver had an interest in the navy. When he became an adult, he joined the navy, which he served in for eighteen years.

Political life[]

(Oliver Pellów barely won presidency of Denmark in 1993, and was inaugurated in early 1994.)

Oliver's most notable period as president of Denmark was in 1995 when he began meeting with Prime Minister Brundtland from Norway to discuss relations between the two countries. Oliver presented the idea of forming a union between Denmark and Norway, rebuilding what had once existed prior to the Treaty of Kiel (1814). Over several meetings in either country, the two countries' parliaments voted on this act, which passed.

Fascist ideology[]

After the formation of the Nordic Union in 1995, Oliver acted as the temporary president until one had been officially elected by the people. As a result of the union, however, several protests were carried out across the country, particularly in major Norwegian cities. It was because of these events that Oliver decided to adopt the idea of fascism in the Nordic Union, in order to help in the suppression of these protesters. He presented this idea, which was balanced in reception.

When the presidential elections came around, Oliver ultimately won with 54% of the vote.

The change to fascism did not take place until 1996, when massive protests were being carried out by Norwegians in Oslo. In the midst of these protests, Oliver sent a military force to quickly suppress these protests and hold the Norwegian parliament building hostage. He officially declared the Nordic Union fascist, and made himself leader.

Fall of the Nordic Union[]

His reign was short-lived, however, as Byzantine and Russian forces were all over the Nordic, following a failed mission to Russia resulting in war. The war was quickly ended, however, as Oliver saw no hope for the union, and surrendered.

Following the war, Oliver had dinner with the president of Russia before being transported to an island to live his life there.
