The Byzantine Federation (Romanian: Federația Bizantină) was a large, transcontinental country located in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa. It was formed in 1998 after a revolution in the Roman State of Byzantium lead to the abolishing of National Socialism and the creation of a fascist democracy. It's capital, Byzantium, a transcontinental city, is the largest city in Europe and one of the largest in the world. It is composed of 7 self governing republics, 2 federal districts, and 2 special administrative divisions. The country was a founding member of the Fascist Union in 1996, but on February 10, 1998, the country held a referendum to leave the Union, and on March 1, the country was no longer a member state of the Fascist Union, and on March 3, the Federation split up.
